Jonathan A. Barash graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1996.  Following law school, Jonathan was Associate Director of the Anti-Defamation League's Southeast Regional office and then an assistant public defender in Tampa, Florida.  After six years at Atlanta law firm Magill & Atkinson, Jonathan joined Levy & Pruett in March, 2009.

At Levy & Pruett, Jonathan handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters concentrating in the areas of business and construction litigation and insurance defense.  Jonathan has considerable experience assisting businesses, local and state governments, and individual clients in mediations, arbitrations, and both state and federal courts.

Jonathan is a member of the Construction and Litigation sections of the American Bar Association, the Construction Forum of the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association.  Jonathan is also a member of the Georgia chapter of the U.S. Green Buildings Council and the Council on Litigation Management.

Jonathan lives in Atlanta.  In his spare time, he keeps busy as an improv actor at Relapse Theatre in Atlanta and as a photographer.  Jonathan is a regular contributor to the Georgia Insurance Defense Lawyer Blog.
