Kirsten Daughdril graduated from the Walter F. Georgia School of Law at Mercer University in 1994 and was on the Moot Court Board. Following law school, Kirsten spent two years at the Houston County, Georgia District Attorney's office prosecuting and trying felonies. After leaving the District Attorney's office, Kirsten worked for the Georgia Attorney General's office for 11 years, first as an assistant attorney general (1996-2006) and later as a senior assistant attorney general (2006-2007). Initially, Kirsten represented various licensing boards, including the Board of Dentistry and the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners, as Board attorney and in administrative and civil proceedings.
Kirsten's practice then shifted to defending state agencies in tort actions, including wrongful death and personal injury cases, where she participated in civil trials, hearings, and mediations. During her final years at the Attorney General's office, Kirsten's practice was focused primarily on defending state agencies in employment actions, including actions brought under Title VII, the ADA and 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1983, in state and federal court on both the trial and appellate levels.
Kirsten is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and the Texas State Bar. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Texas and lives with her husband and three young sons.
